Anybody have great bedding (comforter, duvet, quilt) brands to recommend?
I am looking for a great mid-price bedding set for my guest bedroom. I tend to be a fan of Pottery Barn, Ralph Lauren, Restoration Hardware and sometimes Tommy Hillfiger. I also like Waverly, Croscill and Laura Ashley, as long as the styles aren’t too frilly.
Can anyone recommend any additional brands that I am not thinking of?
My goal is to find something that feels very soft and high-quality (high TC!), but not something shiny and ostentatious. I tend to prefer a high-quality Egyptian cotton over silky polyester blends. I love classic (but not frou-frou or ruffly) styles.

Wamsutta is my personal fav. If it’s for a guest room I’d check out eBay and Wal-Mart. Just make sure you never buy anything less than 200 thread count or it will not last. I just got a 7 piece duvet cover-pillow set on eBay for under $85. It’s nice quality too.
