Check-In/Check Out

Check-In is handled by appointment between 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Check-in before 4:00 PM or after 7:00 PM may be accomodated by special arrangement in advance.  If you find that your plans change and you will be arriving earlier or later than you have indicated, please call us at 828-633-0232 to let us know. Thanks very much for being considerate of our time. Late arrivals can be accomodated with our self check-in process using our key lock box. Check out time is 12 noon.

Breakfast

We serve a full gourmet breakfast at 9:00 AM in the dining room. We use local, seasonal and organic ingredients and avoid refined flours and sugars, artificial flavors and sweeteners, and heavily processed foods. Please let us know in advance if you plan to skip breakfast or require any special diet accommodated. We can provide an expanded continental breakfast for those preferring to have an earlier or later breakfast at their convenience.

Perfume

Please refrain from wearing perfume or heavily-scented personal products during your stay as many of our guests are chemically-sensitive.

Smoking

For the health of all guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere on our 4 acres of property. If you must smoke, please do so before you arrive or after you depart. Smoking in guest rooms, on outside decks, in our parking lot, or anywhere on our grounds will be subject to a fine of $200. Please help us keep our B & B healthy and “green” by complying with this policy.

Pets

Well-behaved Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome in our Health & Happiness Suite, Peace & Prosperity Suite and Wealth & Wisdom Room. A pet priveledge fee of $20 per dog (up to 2 per room) per stay applies. This is not a cleaning fee and does not cover damages. Compliance with our Pet Stay Agreement required. Owners should not leave dogs unattended in rooms unless crated, should keep dogs off beds and furniture, should keep dogs from barking excessively, and should keep dogs leashed when outside. Owners are responsible for any property damage or personal injuries as a result of their pet's actions.

Additional guests

Rates quoted are for up to two people, $20 per night per person. Minimum age 4 years old, up to 2 children under 12 per room are free.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation within 7 days prior to your arrival to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 0-6 days before arrival are subject to payment of entire reservation. October and Holidays require a 14 day advance notice and a 2 night minimum stay. Early departure is not refundable.

Parking

Ample off street parking in our paved parking lot is free. Motorcycles, RV's, campers and trailers welcome.

Shampoo, Soaps, Shower Gel and Conditioner

No need to bring your own soaps and shampoos, as we have natural and organic varieties available that are good to the environment as well as to your hair and skin.

Environmental Practices

As part of our ongoing green, sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices, we service rooms and provide clean linens and towels between guests. If you prefer more frequent changing, please let us know when you arrive.
