Willy Wag and Willy Sparrow by Nancy Cato-bobs Sparrow sat on a stone. Said Willy, it's cold, when the sun is gone. But my hot heart beats in the chest in white silk, long enough after the rest. Sparrow said, It is night in the green sauce, and the cat may lurk in the shadows underneath. He fluffed his feathers and shook his head, now the others are safe in bed. Said Willy, the sky is full of light, and a juicy fly is quickly captured. I'll flirt a bit fan of my cold, and I will not enter until the moon is gold. Said the sparrow, the tree is full for now, and I'm going to my position on the highest branch. But Willy said, if it is dark or light, if I have wanted to sing I'll sing all night. Willy likes not sing. if I have wanted to sing I'll sing all night. Willy says he will do what he wants. Whatever. In the poem, Willy is an owl. that does not care if it is night. However, I think there is a contrast here between the conformist and the rebel sparrow owl (Willy). Willy is going to go out and food perhaps a juicy bug. It's silly to think that a poet dreamed a poem about a pair of birds, unless anything characterizes the poet. Conformity and owl. The adventurous and conservative. This poem looks like a nice change from project two different types, conventional and another rebel. They both depend on the time portrays the poet, if beatnik vs blue collar, Republican vs. hippy farmers from Wall Street, a conflict of ideals is shown in this poem
