What items should I for sure register for?

What will we not be able to live without the first 6 months to a year with a new baby? I know all kids and situations are different but I want to be practical when I register. Some stuff we are getting as hand me downs from family. Here is the stuff we aren’t getting and that I was going to register for:

Will you have enough crib mattress covers and sheets, as well as bassinet ones? I made sure to have a couple waterproof mattress pads and lots of extra sheets too, so you can change them easily at night if needed and have enough to carry you over until you can do the laundry. Other than what you already have listed, the only extra things I can think of are bath towels and washcloths, changing pads, and also larger size onesies.
